Mediterranean restaurant at 5413 Whittlesey Blvd Ste A, Columbus, GA 31909
I traveled to Columbus Georgia for my son’s RASP graduation at Fort Benning. I used the Yelp app to search for local restaurants, just looking for something different, something I could not get at home. I was craving pizza and did not want the normal go to habitual pizza joints. I came across Lepoma’s pizza and started reading the reviews. After reading the reviews, we headed out in search of this grand Pizza location.
Once inside the door, the aroma of pepperoni and garlic increased my hunger and desire. Initially my son and I wanted to different types of pizza so the pizza chef told us we could order a half-and-half which we did. We also ordered the bread knots, infused with garlic and butter….. be warned, these things are addicting and extremely delicious.
After devouring the garlic bread knots, our pizza arrived and we could not wait to tear into it.
I have had pizza in a lot of places in the United States, all around the world, even in Italy and Sicily. This pizza was comparable to pizza that I had at a family owned restaurant in Sicily. I would definitely recommend this place for the pizza alone and the menu had several other items that were enticing.
This is my new favorite pizza joint. The small pizza was a perfect lunch portion and customers can mix and match sauces to their liking !! We loved the garlic butter sauce on our pie.
Knots for appetizer and cheesecake for dessert tied together a great meal
Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff as well – we’ll be back when we visit the area again
Ordered take out for pizza night. Everything was quite good! Had a salad, mozzarella sticks, and a combination pizza. Star of the night was the pizza – great selection of toppings. All of the vegetables were fresh and the crust was perfect. My least favorite was the mozzarella sticks – most likely frozen and fried. Good place to try for take out.
